1Who is responsible
Forwarddd is responsible for the personal data described on this page. You'll find our details at the bottom of this page. Questions about your privacy? Email us at hello@forwarddd.com.
2When you visit our website
Our website runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, their servers process technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you open. That's needed to show you the website and to protect it against attacks.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they view. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't follow you to other websites.
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. We only remember your choice of light or dark mode and your language, in your own browser, so the site looks the way you left it.
When you click "See live" on one of our projects, that client's real website loads inside our page. That website may use its own cookies, and its own privacy policy applies.
- Why we may use it
- Our legitimate interest in a website that works, is secure and that we can improve.
- How long we keep it
- Briefly, in our hosting provider's systems. Visitor statistics are anonymous totals.
3When you book a call
When you book a call, we ask for your name, your email address and a time that suits you. You can also add your phone number, the email addresses of colleagues you'd like to invite and a message about your project. We use this to plan the call, send you a confirmation and prepare for our conversation.
We also note your country, for the code in front of your phone number, and whether you'd rather talk by phone or through Google Meet. If you invite colleagues, they receive the confirmation too. To show the times in your time zone, the form uses your browser's own time zone setting; nothing is sent anywhere for that.
Calls take place by phone or through Google Meet. For a Google Meet call, Google's privacy policy applies to the call itself.
- Why we may use it
- Your request to plan a call with us.
- How long we keep it
- Up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
4When you work with us
For proposals, agreements, invoices and the work itself, we use your name, company name, email address, phone number, address and payment details.
When you sign a proposal online, we store your name, your signature, the date and time and your IP address, as proof of what we agreed. We also keep notes and project files, so we know where your project stands.
- Why we may use it
- To make and carry out our agreement, and because Dutch tax law requires us to keep our administration.
- How long we keep it
- Invoices, agreements and signed proposals: seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Other client details, notes and unsigned proposals: up to two years after our last contact.
5Emails
We send emails, such as booking confirmations and proposals, through Resend. To make sure they arrive, we can see whether an email was delivered and whether it was opened or a link in it was clicked.
We don't send newsletters or other marketing emails without your permission.
- Why we may use it
- Our legitimate interest in knowing that our emails reach you.
- How long we keep it
- Delivery information up to one year.
7When we work with your customers' data
When we build automations or run campaigns for your business, we sometimes work with personal data of your customers. In that case you're responsible for that data, and we only use it on your instructions, under a data processing agreement. See our terms and conditions.
8How we protect your data
We use secure connections, accounts protected with strong sign-in and limited access, and providers with high security standards. Only people who need your data for their work can see it.
9Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the personal data we have about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it, or object to how we use it;
- give you a copy in a format you can take elsewhere.
Send your request to hello@forwarddd.com. We reply within one month, and we may first ask you to confirm who you are.
Not happy with how we handle your data? Please tell us first, so we can make it right. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
10Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website or our way of working changes. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed.
